For 40 years I have been surfing, sailing and kayaking through international waters.
After a university degree in sports science and management my life was
dedicated to guide people through nature as ski instructor in Austria and France, as well as travel guide in Africa and India.
Influenced by sea biologists and pioneers like Hans Hass and Jaques Cousteau, the fascination for life on and under water has been determing my ways. Swimming out in open waters, beeing on a boat with endless horizon, or diving down into deep blue, has always been giving me a warm feeling of beeing home.
Trimaran sailing has become my passion in any form. I have always been owning Trimarans and I am still sailing as often as possible.
The fascination of beeing in touch with water and the idea to share moments with others led into the plan of HOBIE ADVENTURE.
